Bill Dinse
Territory Sales Manager, USA
Bill has producers’ best interest in mind and looks at ways for GENEX to bring more value to members and customers. He consistently gives his best and is a reliable source of advice for both producers and his co-workers. Over the past 32 years working with dairy and beef producers in Minnesota, Bill has exemplified our values – especially the values of integrity, passion, loyalty, reliability and teamwork – at every opportunity.
One of Bill’s colleagues shares, “I enjoy working with Bill because he always wants what’s best for farmers and ranchers. He is a great example of the farmer’s spirit, meaning he works hard and does what he says he will. In addition, Bill doesn’t hesitate to include the GENEX technical service team in his daily work with producers to ensure members and customers get the most value possible while working with GENEX.”
Wolfgang Ruess

Wolfgang started his career as a technician and has since flourished to become an expert in many areas and an individual who is highly recognized by his peers. He always goes the extra mile to get the job done. He truly cares about producers and ensuring they receive the best products and services. Wolfgang is a great team member who cares about others and gives his all to get the best outcome.
Wolfgang’s nominator shares, “Wolfgang works for CRI Genetics, a GENEX distributor company, yet he has always been a proud GENEX promoter and is considered part of the GENEX family. His passion for the industry was so impactful that his daughter followed in his footsteps and is a star employee at CRI Genetics as well. Furthermore, his contributions were a big part of Germany receiving the ‘Best Consulting Service Award’ at the 2024 GENEX Distributor Conference.”
Patty Lasby
Area Sales Manager, Canada
Patty has been a proud member of the GENEX Canada team for 23 years. Throughout those years and through various roles, she has continued to put the needs of the team before herself. When working with members and customers, she focuses on bringing solutions, not just making a sale. She is always pursuing the right outcome for the customer and GENEX.
“Anyone who has met or worked with Patty knows she is dedicated to GENEX Canada and the larger global GENEX team. She is genuine and honest in both her personal and professional life,” expresses her nominator. “Patty displays a thirst to live the GENEX culture in all she does. She is always willing to step up when requested and presents herself in a fashion which reflects success.”
Mariana Ortolon Sayeg
Dairy Marketing Manager, Brazil
Mariana is instrumental to the GENEX Brazil team and their dairy market growth so far in 2024. She is a team player who constantly challenges her team members to bring their “A” game to our customers and prospects. She also works closely with her U.S. teammates and is well respected by everyone she works with in the organization.
Her nominator says, “It is clear Mariana is passionate about the dairy industry and genetics. She has used her insights to help GENEX Brazil grow and position their genetic value. What makes her even more special is that she is humble. While she is proud of what her team accomplishes, she maintains her down-to-earth nature. She combines her humility with dairy knowledge and lets her personality shine through to team members and customers.”

In her 18 years with the cooperative, Shaina has been a powerful representation of our core values in action. She always does the right thing and goes out of her way to help co-workers, members and customers. Shaina truly cares about GENEX and fosters genuine relationships with everyone she works with. She exemplifies every core value, but especially the farmer’s spirit, putting in extra time to look into situations, dig for answers and promptly respond to questions.
Shaina’s nominator shares, “A job cannot be well done unless there is passion and a genuine care for co-workers and the cooperative, and it is obvious Shaina has that. She bleeds GENEX and will do whatever is needed to help the organization. Even when I have questions that don’t pertain to her job, Shaina works hard to find the answers or direct me to the right person. Her reliability and teamwork are above and beyond. With people like Shaina, the future of GENEX is bright.”
