The GENEX Generations Tour is your opportunity to visit progressive dairy farms in one of the fastest growing dairy areas in the United States.

You will see generations of outstanding cattle genetics, gain insight into today’s leading herd management practices, and learn about the latest products and technologies being applied to drive herd success to the next level.

Come for the cows and the comradery. You’ll network with dairy producers from around the globe and take home new ideas to better your farm for generations to come!

Dakota Line Dairy

Newly constructed in December 2020, Dakota Line is home to 5,000 Jersey cows being crossbred to Holstein and housed in a wide-tunnel ventilated barn with 80-stall rotary parlor. David & Maartje Lemstra, along with their 5 children, relocated their dairy from California and have chosen GENEX as their genetics partner.

MoDak Dairy

46472 171st St, Goodwin, SD

MoDak Dairy’s brand new cross-ventilated heifer barn and group housing for calves will be a highlight of the tour. This farm has 2,400 Holsteins and a double-30 parallel parlor. The Moes family is a 5th generation GENEX member. The herd showcases generations of GENEX genetics with all sexed and beef semen sourced from the cooperative.

Perry Creek Dairy

Perry Creek is home to 4,100 Holstein cows in a wide-tunnel ventilated barn with an 80-stall rotary parlor. As an award-winning reproductive herd, a great partnership with GENEX on reproduction plans and breeding decisions has been key.

Dykstra Dairy

Top-notch genetics and the care of their next generation are impressive at Dykstra Dairy. Amongst 3,000 Holsteins, you will view some outstanding trouble-free and productive ICC™ cows. On their heifer site, robotic calf feeders and SCCL colostrum contribute to their youngstock success.
